Bovikalc Bolus Pack of 4

Bovikalc bolus provides both quick and sustained calcium supplementation that supports blood serum calcium levels at a time when calcium is in great demand. The specially-designed bolus helps ensure a safe usage and better calcium availability than some imitator boluses.

Bovikalc bolus is to be used in dairy cows at risk of developing milk fever, especially in high yielding, older dairy cows and those at increased risk.

For reducing the risk of milk fever:
• First bolus at the first sign of parturition
• Second bolus immediately after calving
• If necessary give one or two additional boluses at 12-15 hour intervals

For supplementation following calcium injection:
• 1st bolus 2-3 hours after calcium injection
• 2nd bolus 12-15 hours later
