Cydectin Triclamox Oral Solution For Sheep is used for the treatment of mixed nematode and fluke infections, caused by moxidectin and triclabendazole sensitive strains of:
Gastro-intestinal nematodes:Â
- Haemonchus contortus (Adult, L4, Inhibited)
- Teladorsagia circumcincta (Adult, L4, Inhibited)
- Ostertagia trifurcata (Adult, L4)
- Trichostrongylus axei (Adult, L4, Inhibited)
- Trichostrongylus colubriformis (Adult, L4)
- Trichostrongylus vitrinus (Adult, L4)
- Nematodirus battus (Adult, L4)
- Nematodirus spathiger (Adult, L4)
- Nematodirus filicolis (Adult)
- Strongyloides papillosus (L4)
- Cooperia curticei (Adult)
- Cooperia oncophora (Adult, L4)
- Oesophagostomum columbianum (Adult, L4)
- Oesophagostomum venulosum (Adult)
- Chabertia ovina (Adult, L4)
- Trichuris ovis (Adult)

Liver fluke
- Fasciola hepatica (Adult, Early Immature, Late Immature)
The product has a persistent efficacy and protects sheep against infection or re-infection with the following parasites for the period indicated:
- Teladorsagia circumcinta 35 days
- Haemonchus contortus 35 days
Clinical trials, after experimental and natural infection, have shown that the product is effective against certain benzimidazole resistant strains of:
- Haemonchus contortus
- Teladorsagia circumcincta
- Trichostrongylus colubriformis
- Cooperia curticei
Moxidectin has persistent activity against key sheep parasites. It provides up to 35 days of persistent protection against both Haemonchus and Teladorsagia worms.In addition moxidectin has been shown to be effective against certain strains of worms that are resistant to white (benzimidazole) doses.
Triclabendazole is effective against early immature, late immature and adult liver fluke.
Dose rate: 1ml/5kg bodyweight

Meat and offal: 31 days
Milk: not authorised for use in ewes producing milk intended for human consumption including during the dry period. Do not use within 1 year prior to the first lambing in ewes intended to produce milk for human consumption.
